No. Hiring managers see only your anonymised profile when they shortlist you for an interview. They see your experience, skills, university, employer tier, and salary expectations, but never your name, photo, current company name, or contact details.

Three things happen, in order:

Short answer: it can get you banned.

Accept an interview invitation only if you're happy with all the details: role, location, and salary, plus the JD. If something doesn't work, just reject the invitation. There's no penalty for passing.

Need to reschedule after accepting? Tell the recruiter or hiring manager. They'll accommodate reasonable requests. Even last-minute (you fall sick on the day, an emergency comes up), most hiring managers will reschedule.

But if you commit to attend, then ghost the hiring manager without rescheduling, and the hiring manager reports it to FindingJo, we'll ban you from the platform.
